The Aim Of This Blog...

...is to raise awareness about how all forms of oppression are related. I do so mainly by sharing my own experiences. The three main topics I write about are Dissociative Identity/Complex Trauma, feminism/gender equality, and veganism/anti-speciesism, as of August 2023 it's also homelessness.

I'm also running a podcast series with interviews of other activists and/or creatives - please contact me if you'd be interested in being a guest, I'm always on the search for new ones!:)

You will find a section of links and a book list under "Resources", should you look for further information about certain topics. The section "Links" leads to my link tree that contains my other projects (see also the buttons at the bottom of the home page).

About Me

My name is Laura (she/her), I'm from northern Germany, but lived in the UK for some years. I have a Dissociative Identity and suffer from Complex Trauma due to lifelong abuse/neglect, but I'm not disordered or ill.

I've been in therapy since 2019 and am acutely aware of the lack of information among health professionals and society at large concerning trauma and dissociation. This is why I define myself as a lived experience trauma educator.

I am passionate about animal rights, gender equality, social justice in general, respecting the planet and all its inhabitants, and creating a better world for the most vulnerable members of society. I also am an INFP (MBTI personality types), HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), singer/songwriter, musician, dancer, artist, poet, actor, cosplayer, storyteller, historical linguist, and archaeologist. I deeply love nature - my true home are forests and fens.
